The New River symposium will be held at Radford University on April 11-12. The New River Symposium is a bi-annual, multi-disciplinary conference open to all with either a professional or an amateur interest in the New River. They invite abstracts for presentations (15-20 minutes) or posters for the poster session. Deadline for proposal submissions is February 16, 2024. Speakers will be announced by March 7, 2024.Previous presenters have included teachers, researchers, community leaders, government officials, stewards, river keepers, planners, boaters, birders, and anglers.
